Following the success of the train and tram wraps we designed for the launch of Emirates in Ireland, Emirates came to us again and asked us to develop the wrap graphics for each of the 36 cable car cabins on the Emirates Air Line which crosses the Thames.

Our role was to brand the cable car cabins as unmistakably ‘Emirates’, whilst highlighting key destinations on the Emirates network and creating a striking addition to the cityscape too.

Getting the right balance of branding and creative design was key for this project – we achieved it by combining the powerful ‘Hello’ brand message (taken from Emirates Hello Tomorrow tagline) with colourful abstract photography to represent each of the destinations and give each cabin its own identity. We were excited to be part of such an iconic transport project and enjoyed creating designs that bring the colour and excitement of international travel to the London Docklands. We also worked on the Emirates Crumpled City maps and the Emirates Oyster Card holders.
